Questions & Answers
Honest answers to the questions that matter most
Getting Started
How do I start?
Submit an inquiry through our contact form or email us directly. Our team will respond within 24 hours to discuss your needs.
Is the initial inquiry free?
Yes. Your first inquiry is completely free with no obligation. This helps us understand your needs and explain how we can assist.
Costs & Commitment
What is the formal remote consultation fee?
A formal remote consultation costs CNY 3,500 or USD 500. This covers clinical review of your medical records, a consultation session with a specialist, and a structured recommendation report.
Can this fee be credited later?
If you proceed to receive care in China through our coordination, this consultation fee is credited toward your coordination service fee.
Are hospital costs fixed in advance?
No. We provide cost estimates based on your case, but actual medical charges are determined by the hospital. Hospital costs are separate from our coordination service fee.
What We Do (and Don't Do)
Do you provide medical diagnosis or treatment?
No. Contour-Orizen is a medical coordination service only. We do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. All medical decisions are made by licensed physicians at our partner hospitals.
Do you handle visa applications?
Visa applications are the patient's responsibility. We can provide hospital invitation letters to support your application. China has also implemented visa-free policies for many countries — click here to check if your country is eligible. If you are unsure, our team can help you determine whether your passport requires a visa.
Language & On-Site Support
What language support do you provide?
We offer professional written translation through partner agencies, bilingual hospital escorts for on-site support, and AI-assisted interpretation tools to supplement real-time communication with doctors.
Will someone accompany me at the hospital?
Yes. We coordinate bilingual escorts who can accompany you to consultations and help facilitate communication with medical staff.
Privacy & Your Data
How is my medical information handled?
We only access your medical information with your explicit consent. All data is used solely for care coordination and handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
Safety & Trust
Is it safe to travel to China for medical care?
Yes. Many major Chinese hospitals have dedicated international departments designed to serve foreign patients. China's visa-free policy now covers citizens of many countries, and we can provide hospital invitation letters to support your visa application. Our team will guide you through the practical steps so you know exactly what to expect.
What if I'm not satisfied with the care?
Our role is to coordinate, not to provide clinical care. We clearly define the boundaries of our coordination service upfront. If an issue arises, we act as your advocate — helping you communicate concerns to the hospital and facilitating follow-up arrangements. We cannot guarantee medical outcomes, but we are committed to being on your side throughout the process.
How do I know the hospital is legitimate?
We proactively provide you with the hospital's full name, credentials, and publicly available information so you can verify independently. Our partner hospitals are major, established institutions in Beijing with transparent public records. We encourage you to research them — and we are happy to answer any questions about their background.
